 Day 01 – Arrival in Kathmandu

  • We start this Heritage tour at around 9 AM & visit few UNESCO world heritage sites in Kathmandu valley. First we visit Pashupatinath Temple. The temple is most popular not just in Nepal but for Hindus around the world. This holy pilgrimage site of Nepal located on the bank of Holy Bagmati River & houses a sacred lingum or the phallic symbol of Lord Shiva. Dozens of other Temples, monuments & spots lies on it’s huge surroundings.
    Next we visit Kathmandu Durbar Square- the former palace complex that holds several Temples & Palace with full of traditional arts & cultural folks. House of Living Goddess “Kumari” & “Hanuman”- the legend King of monkey is among the major attraction of the site. Taleju Temple, Golden gate & Lord Krishna Temple among the best example of Newari architecture of Malla era.
    Bouddha Nath Stupa which is about 3 Km east of Pashupatinath Temple & probably the biggest Stupa in the world. We can find large Tibetan population around the stupa as some people consider this as Tibetan Stupa. Nearby Boudhanath Stupa, more than 50 Tibetan Monasteries offering wonderful atmosphere around the area.
    Later we visit Budhanilkantha- A well popular pilgrimage site for all Hindus which is belong to sleeping Vishnu, colossal statue of lord Vishnu reclining on a bed of snakes on Water pond. Hence also called as Jal Narayan,
