Everest Base Camp Trek commence with a scenic mountain flight from Kathmandu to the foothills of Khumbu ‘Lukla’, which is main gateway to the Everest. On our arrival at Lukla we meet our supporting Sherpa and walk slowly upwards following the Dudh Koshi River to the Namche Bazaar. It is first time to take a glimpse of Mt. Everest along with Lotse and Nuptse in the northern skyline. Over the coming days we will walk upwards to Everest Base Camp and Kala Pattar, which gives amazing views of Mt. Everest and many other mountains such as Lhotse, Cho You, Nuptse, Makalu, Amadablam along with pristine Himalayan glaciers in the Mahalangur Mountain Region.

During the Everest Base Camp trek we visit Tengboche Monastery, many culturally rich sherpa villages, Buddhist chorten, the famous Kala Patter, base camp; where Everest climbers gear up for their final ascent.

The Everest trekking is lies in the Everest National park, which is world heritage site listed by UNESCO and here You can see many wild flowers, flora and fauna. We use best available mountain lodges called “tea houses” for accommodation, which is all prearranged and included in your package. Day 01 – Arrival in Kathmandu

  • Arrival in Kathmandu received & transfer to hotel. Meet our guide & do final preparation for the Trekking, O/N at hotel in Kathmandu

Day 02 – Cultural excursion in Kathmandu

  • Meeting with Trekking guide & last minute preparation before heading for trekking. Half days cultural tour in Kathmandu, O/N at hotel in Kathmandu

Day 03 – Early morning flight to Tenzing – Hillary Airport in Lukla (2804m)

  • Trek to Phakding (2610 meters) 4 hours, O/N at Local Lodge (B,L,D)

Day 04 – Trek to Namche Bazaar (3441m)

  • 5 hours, O/N at Local Lodge (B,L,D)

Day 05 – Namche Bazaar Acclimatization day

  • Walking around nearby area, such as Syangboche, Khumjung Village, O/N at Local Lodge (B,L,D)

Day 06 – Trek to Tengboche Monastery (3860m)

  • 5 hours, O/N at Local Lodge (B,L,D)

Day 07 – Trek to Dingboche (4350m)

  •  6 hours. O/N at Local Lodge (B,L,D)

Day 08 – Acclimatization, Day trip to Chhukung

  •  Day trip to Chhukung valley (4710 meters) or ascend the nearby hill and trek back to Dingboche 4 hours, O/N at Local Lodge (B,L,D)

Day 09 – Trek to Lobuche (4910m)

Day 10 – Trek to Everest Base Camp (5365m)

Day 11 – Trek up to Kalapatthar (5555m)

  •  Trek up to Kalapatthar (5555 meters) early in the morning then trek down to Pheriche (4200 meters). 7 hours, O/N at Local Lodge (B,L,D

Day 12 – Trek to Namche Bazaar (3441m)

  •  6 hours, Overnight at Local Lodge (B,L,D)

Day 13 – Trek to Lukla (2804m)

Day 14 – Early morning Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu

  •  Catch an early morning Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu, arrival and transfer to hotel. Rest of the day free for personal activities or shopping on own, O/N at hotel in Kathmandu (B)

Day 15 – Leisure day in Kathmandu

  • Shopping or personal activities. Also considered as spare day incase of flight cancellation in Lukla, O/N at hotel in Kathmandu (B)

Day 16 – Fly back home
