At 6093 metres, the spectacular Pisang Peak offers a challenging climb which will reward you with a fantastic sense of achievement and on top of that, awesome views over the Annapurna region, with some of the highest mountains in the world! With a mix of ridges and fixed rope climbing, its advised that you have some previous mountaineering experience to enjoy this mountain and that you have a good level of fitness.

Depending on mountain conditions, the climb can take anything from 8 hours to 12 hours from Upper Base Camp. The terrain is mixed and exposed in areas and sections involve climbing and traversing really exciting rock faces and fixed ropes.

Pisang Peak is a great introduction to Himalayan mountain climbing, and you’ll enjoy 2 nights in tented base camps with our friendly and experienced mountain guides who will guide you through the 3 day expedition from the pretty Upper Pisang Village. At base camps, you’ll not only wake up to tasty food cooked by our guides, but mountain views that will simply take your breath away!

Day 01 – Arrival in Kathmandu

  • Arrival in Kathmandu received & transfer to hotel. Rest of the day enjoy looking around the nearby area on own, O/N at hotel in Kathmandu

Day 02 – Sightseeing & Trek preparation in Kathmandu 

  • Cultural excursion in Kathmandu. Meeting with Trekking guide & last minute preparation before heading for trekking, O/N at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 03

  • Early departure from Kathmandu & drive almost 7 hours to Besishahar (760m) following rivers, villages, downhill valley & wonderful mountain views, O/N at Local lodge (B,L,D)

Day 04

  • Trekking commence from today as we walk to Bahundanda (1310m) 6 hours, O/N at Local lodge (B,L,D)

Day 05 -Trekking to Chamje (1430m)

  • 5 hours, O/N at Local lodge (B,L,D)

Day 06 -Trekking to Bagarchhap (2160m)

  • 6 hours, O/N at Local lodge (B,L,D)

Day 07 -Trekking to Chame (2710m)

  • 6 hours, O/N at Local lodge (B,L,D)

Day 08 -Trekking to Pisang (3300m)

  • 5 hours, O/N at Local lodge (B,L,D)

Day 09 -Acclimatization day in Pisang Village

  • Acclimatization day in Pisang Village & exploring around, O/N at Local lodge (B,L,D)

Day 10 – Trekking to Pisang Peak Base Camp (4420m)

  • 6 hours, O/N at Tented Camp (B,L,D)

Day 11 -Proceed from Base Camp to High Camp (5450m)

  • 6 hours, O/N at Tented Camp (B,L,D)

Day 12 – Proceed for Summit of Pisang Peak (6091m)

  • Achieve the ultimate goal then descends to Base Camp, O/N at Tented Camp (B,L,D)

Day 13 – Trekking back to Pisang Village

  • 5 hours, O/N at Local lodge (B,L,D)

Day 14 – Trekking to Manang (3500m)

  • 6.5 hours, O/N at Local lodge (B,L,D)

Day 15 – Trekking to Yak Kharka (4110m)

  • 4 hours, O/N at Local lodge (B,L,D)

Day 16 – Trekking to Thorong Phedi (4600m)

  • 4 hours, O/N at Local lodge (B,L,D)

Day 17

  • Another important day of this trip as we reach the highest point Thorong La Pass (5416m), enjoy the great views & take a long breath as you make it. Later trek down to Muktinath (3800m) 8 hours, O/N at Local lodge (B,L,D)

Day 18 – Trek down to Jomsom (2800m)

  • Visit Kagbeni village on the way- 4 hours, O/N at Local lodge (B,L,D)

Day 19 – Flight to Pokhara

  • Take an early morning exhilarating flight to Pokhara over the Himalaya. Transfer to Hotel at Pokhara, rest of the leisure or explore nearby area or Boating on Fewa Lake, O/N at hotel in Pokhara)

Day 20

  • After B/F at hotel, drive back to Kathmandu on Tourist SIC Coach. Leisure or looking around local market for last minute shopping or personal activities on own, O/N hotel in Kathmandu (B)
    (Note: Can take flight to return Kathmandu instead of drive | Cost extra !)

Day 21 – Leisure in Kathmandu

  • Shopping or personal activities. Also considered as spare day incase of delay to arrive Kathmandu, O/N at hotel in Kathmandu (B)

Day 22

  • After Breakfast, transfer to Airport on time & fly home with wonderful memories… (B)
