This is a slightly longer version of this classic trek as it has a few extra rest days for those wanting to take a little more time to enjoy the stunning Himalaya’s. Everest Base Camp is probably one of the most desired trekking destinations in the world, add to that the crossing of the stunning Cho La Pass and on into Gokyo Lakes, and you are in for an amazing trek that will leave you with memories for a lifetime. Winter is a great time to travel if you want to avoid the potentially more crowded trekking season, and enjoy the stunning Himalayas all to yourself!

Day 1:  Arrive Kathmandu

  • Pick up from airport to hotel in Thamel.

Day 2: meeting with tour guides, sightseeing, shopping

  • Cultural excursion in Kathmandu. Meeting with Trekking guide & last minute preparation before heading for trekking, O/N at hotel in Kathmandu

Day 3:  Fly to Lukla (appx. 35mins) 2800m

  • Trek to Phakding (or Monjo). Appx 3hours O/N in lodge B/L/D

Day 4: Trek to Namchee

  • Appx. 5.5 hours O/N guesthouse B/L/D

Day 5: Acclimatization day in Namchee

  • O/N guesthouse B/L/D

Day 6: Trek to Deboche

  • Stop at Tengboche Monastery on the way. O/N B/L/D

Day 7: Trek to Dingboche

  • O/N guesthouse. B/L/D

Day 8: Acclimatization day

  • O/N guesthouse B/L/D

Day 9: Trek to Lobuche

  • O/N guesthouse B/L/D

Day 10: Trek to Gorak Shep and EBC

Day 11: Kala Patthar after breakfast then Trek to Lobuche

Day 17: Trek to Trek to Macherma

Day 19: Trek to Namchee.

Day 20: Trek to Monjo.
